About us
neuschwansteinticket.com is an independent comparison site for admission to Neuschwanstein Castle, published by Cruise Media GmbH. The castle belongs to the Bavarian Palace Administration, and official ticket sales are run by the Ticket Center Hohenschwangau.
The question this site answers is not "where is it cheapest" but "which of the three products is mine". At this castle three different things are sold under the same word: the palace administration's official timed admission, a tour operator's offer with a guide, an audio guide or a carriage ride, and the day trip from Munich, where admission is only one part of the package. They cost different amounts because different things are in them, and they come from different sellers. That is why every offer on this site says who issues it.
The second reason for this site is the rhythm of the house. The ticket is valid for one particular time, anyone arriving late loses the tour they booked, and the Ticket Center asks visitors to be in the village 1.5 to 2 hours beforehand because 1.5 kilometres uphill still sit between the village and the castle gate. Those figures shape the day more than the price does, and here they carry a source and a checked date.

What this site is not
neuschwansteinticket.com is not the official website of Neuschwanstein Castle. The palace administration publishes at neuschwanstein.de, official sales run through the Ticket Center Hohenschwangau; we point to that route explicitly and earn nothing from it. Nor is this a Bavaria travel guide: Munich, the Allgäu and the other palaces of Ludwig II appear only where they bear on a visit to this one castle. We do not sell tickets ourselves. Bookings run through our partner Tiqets, whose current prices, availability and terms apply.
